The roller hockey is known by various names across the world but all refer to the same thing. It is referred to as roll hockey, international style ball hockey, Hoquei em Patins, rink hockey and quad hockey among other various names.
The game is popular in over 60 countries across the world. This game was demonstrated in the Barcelona Summer Olympics in 1992 and has since then tremendously grown in popularity. There is a variation of the roller hockey and ice hockey which is known as the inline hockey. In this hockey game, two teams comprised of four skaters and one goal keeper play on dry rink. The rules on inline hockey vary from one country to another.
