The Filed Hockey is a game which is usually played on water-based artificial, natural grass, sand-based or natural grass turf with a small ball which is hard. It is a game which is played by person of all genders in Australia, South Africa, Europe, New Zealand and Australia. In most countries it is played by two teams of same genders. In some other states it can be mixed.
The governing body of the Filed hockey is International Hockey Federation which sets out the international tournaments and the rules of playing the game. The hockey sticks for playing this game are J-shaped. They are made of made of carbon fiber, glass fiber, wood or a combination of all these or two of them.
